Many factors determine the pricing and scheduling of your hair extension application. You and your stylist will discuss these factors during your consultation.

HAIR EXTENSIONS REMOVAL – 1 HR / $50

We apply tape removal solution and gently remove the extensions, thoroughly wash and condition the hair. Finished with a blow dry.

HAIR EXTENSIONS RE-TAPE – 2 HRS / $200

We apply a hair extension solution to gently remove the extensions, thoroughly wash the hair to remove all residue, blow dry out the hair and replace the tape on the extensions. Finally we place your extensions precisely back onto the head..

HAIR EXTENSIONS (Beaded, Braid-less, Hand-Tied to Wefted) – Based On Consultation

It goes by many names, but all are synonymous for the act of attaching a weft to natural hair to create length and/or volume! First the stylist will create a foundation of your natural hair and silicon beads. Then the stylist will sew the hand-tied machine made, or hybrid wefts onto the breaded foundation, securely attaching the weft to the natural hair. Giving you the hair of your dreams! This service is very subjective and all
depends on your desired look and your existing natural hair integrity. However that makes it completely customizable for your specific needs!

WHICH TYPES OF HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?

For the best results, we recommend that you come in for a consultation before purchasing your hair extensions, at which time our stylists will recommend the best extensions for your hair type. Afterward, we can purchase the hair for you directly from our supplier and set up an appointment time for you to come in and have your extensions put in!

NOTE: All hair and necessary accessories must be paid for at the time of consultation and/or prior to the day of application service.

WHAT TYPES OF HAIR EXTENSIONS DOES DI CARLO SALON & BARBERSHOP OFFER?

The two most common types of hair extensions requested are fusion(keratin) and Tape-In Extensions (sticker).

KERATIN EXTENSIONS:

The keratin fusion bonds are a very durable long lasting application. The keratin is heated and grabs on to the cuticle (outside layer of hair) to bond to it, which also makes also for easy removal. The application is around 2 to 3 hours depending on the thickness and the look you are wanting to achieve. This application will last you 3 to 6 month with proper care of the hair. You might not know what to do with your hair’s volume, length, and versatility.That’s okay. Wear it up or down, the bonds are easy to hide– especially because they are bonded with clear keratin to your hair strand.

TAPE-IN EXTENSIONS:

This brand-new method is a showstopper. Installation is astonishingly fast and the look is shamelessly seamless. Clients are raving about how Tape-In Extensions provide length and volume and blend easily into hair.

Tape-In Extensions are attached to your hair with a double-sided, medical grade tape. The hair lies flat so it does not twist and tangle, which makes our clients with finer hair the perfect candidates! For those clients with very fine hair, we can also do a method of single-sided tape so your new look feels very natural and blends with your existing hair. These extensions can be reused up to 3 times depending on care and maintenance. Tape extensions need to be adjusted every 2 to 3 months.

Whether you are willing to set aside a small amount of time every day to maintain their fabulousness or not is one of the largest deciding factors regarding whether hair extensions are right for you.

AFTERCARE

Protect your investment by using professional extension care products to keep hair strong, healthy, and shiny.
Tie your hair back at night in a loose ponytail or braid.
Never go to bed with wet hair.
Wash hair as often as necessary to keep it clean and oil free.
Don’t allow hot tools such as curling irons to touch the bonds.
Don’t use any hair products that contain oil, alcohol, or silicone.
Never try to remove the extensions yourself.
Brush hair thoroughly before every shampoo.
Brush hair 2 to 3 times daily.
Perform all chemical processes, such as color or perms in the salon by a professional stylist.
Keep your hair tangle-free with a silk or satin pillowcase.
After application of extensions, do not wash hair for 48 hours. You must give double-sided tape time to stabilize.
