At Di Carlo Salon & Barbershop we pride ourselves on having the best, most well trained, customer focused staff in the industry. To be considered to join the team an applicant must possess the following traits: creativity, exceptional skills (cut and color techniques), friendly upbeat personality, customer focused and able to follow processes that lead to success. The Stylist/Barber/Barberette’s daily activities include: providing services (Men’s & Women’s Cut/Color services), specialty services (waxing, make-up, styling), customer service/client facing, ability to cross-sell add-on services, ability to effectively communicate the benefits of our products, Services & Add-on services to the client, work as part of a team, train hard to be the best, and follow our proven processes to ensure the client keeps coming back.
- Diploma or Certificate of completion showing graduation from a State accredited Beauty School
- Current Cosmetology License
- Able to pass a background check
- Agreeable to sign a Non-Compete and Training Reimbursement agreements
- Able to work a 40 hours a week/ full time
- Willing to complete a paid 4 week training program
- Apply online or in person
- In-person committee interview
- Background and reference check will be conducted prior to moving onto the next step
- Skills assessment (provide a model to show your skills)
Applicant must sign “Training Agreement and Non-Compete”
Applicant must start 4 week paid training program ($9 an hour)
Management will approve you on an individual basis to graduate from the training program and start accepting clients
Starting Pay is $9 an hour until you can meet a minimum sales goal at which point you will go on the commission scale compensation plan (no more hourly pay)
Commission Scale- you will be eligible to earn up to 58% of the total revenue you bring in (after chem charge) NOTE- payout is based on a sliding pay scale calculated based on your two week revenue generation (scale will be provided to you as well as multiple tracking and Coaching tools)
